| John and Vickie LeCroy have
spent the last seventeen years together actively exploring
a broad musical spectrum including old jazz standards,
blues, traditional and contemporary folk, with a healthy
dose of ethnic and international and even an occasional
classical piece.
Vickie's soaring vocals and fiery violin playing
make good company with John's smooth fingerstyle and
flatpicking guitar work and rich baritone voice. Together,
with John's irrepressible attempts at wit, it makes
for entertaining performances that have delighted
audiences and won high praise up and down the East
Coast.
Their performance will include a mix of familiar
and not-so familiar tunes and occasional silliness.
John and Vickie have performed at many Delaware Friends
of Folk coffeehouses and functions, and this performance
marks their first return to the Delmarva Folk Festival
stage since 2001. They currently live in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
