| Leilani Wall, a struggling bureaucrat,
turns to music to escape the stresses of toiling in
the coils of State government. Music has always been
central in her life, and singing and playing guitar
are what keep her compos mentis. More or less.
Leilani plays a wide variety of music: modern and
traditional folk, rock ballads, a smattering of country
and Irish, and a few croonable tunes from the late
’40s and early ’50s. She can be heard
on the Delaware Friends of Folk’s A Delaware
Christmas recording.
Leilani has played extensively in the area. She
has performed for First Night Dover, the Capital City
Tour of the Arts, the City of Dover Performing Arts
Series, the Festival of Lights, the Festival of Trees,
as well as for Delaware Friends of Folk coffeehouses
and this year makes a return to the Delmarva Folk
Festival.
